Hi Again,

Is Hollywood toes French? I love doing French toes or fingers using Shellac. They really do last aswell.

I also do Twinkle or Rockstar toes. Again I do them using Shellac or Gelish.

Shellac, Gelish etc have so many benefits. You can use on natural nails gaining more natural nail clients. You can French, Twinkle or put it straight on top of acrylics for an instant dry polish. It is so versitle. You can also create layering techniques. I can honestly say I use either of these systems with 99.9% of my ladies and most of my work is acrylics and they are just going mad for colour and leaving white tips or glitter tips behind.

Once you invest in any of the systems above you won’t look back. I don’t think I have used an air dry polish in a whole year.

Hi

Hollywood toes is a great course to go on especially around this time of year. The Hollywood toes is using the french gels ie Pink & White and the twinkle toes is using the glitters sprinkled over the gel. Here is a video to have a look at. http://www.nailangel.co.uk/index.php/videos/uv-gel-videos/glitter-toes/1 x

As long as it’s a 36 Watt UV lamp you will be able to use it with the gels. x

You can use a 36 Watt UV Lamp. But you just have to be careful where you get them from as the bulbs may not last as long as other lamps. x

I’ve always been taught to have the right UV lamp for the system used however not always the case. I have read that some systems will and can be cured with any lamp.
The lamp you are looking at personally I wouldn’t go for. Stick to a good branded lamp, may cost a bit more but a least you know you are getting a good lamp.
I have 2 lamps. I have the new Shellac lamp and also a daylight lamp which I use for feet. Both cost around £100 - £120 and look professional.
