NSI Ukraine WOW us at Nailympics Italy 2015!
Nailympics Italy – International Nail Competition, February 1-2, 2015, Rome, Italy
Gdańsk, Poland ( Feb.3rd, 2015) – Nailympics Italy is the 2nd biggest nail art event in Europe after Nailympia London. This year, more than 250 nail artists from different countries came together to Rome, to compete, and to win! Not only decorations, colors and creativity, but technical talent and precision were scanned and judged by a 22 members jury, headed by international Nailympics President Lysa Comfort. Participants flocked from all around the globe yearning coveted awards, but especially to get the right touch to turn their passion into real profession. Competitors’ works were evaluated according to an internationally recognized scoring while the event consisted of 10 different competitions along these two days. Many challenges took place, including the long-awaited Nail Art Embellishment dedicated to students who had to amaze the jury “with special effects”. The theme of this competition was Alice In Wonderland, to impress judges, audience and competitors, who was inspired by the dream-like atmosphere and the eccentric characters of the Lewis Carroll novel for the coveted prize.
During the event first day the Fashion Design Soak Off Nail contest was popped back: participants were invited to take inspiration from the stunning look worn by a team of top models and then to create a manicure able to fully express the spirit and style of collection through the “dressing” nails.
And a new competition came for real creative ones: the Ultimate Nail Art Challenge that released the artistic side of each and every one of them. Contest included acrylic design 3D construction, gel or acrylic flat art with any kind of form. The use of decorative elements such as glitter, shells, confetti etc. was allowed. This contest went on for 6 hours.
NAILYMPICS confirms again as a main display of beauty, imagination and innovation, where technologies and passions come together creating a spectacle of amazing colors and items that can give an everlasting impression to the viewer!

I work closely with these talented nail artists, and NSI lovers from 2012. From time to time I hear that NSI doesn’t have great enough products for nail art competitions or for pink&white. White is not that white, and pink is too pinky But Results of this championships confirm, that NSI does have the products to create winning, and beautiful nail enhancements. Talent is very important, but without the products understanding, proper application, picking the perfect bead, it would be almost impossible to achieve. This team attended in trainings conducted by Denise Wright – Ukraine 2012, Poland 2014, and by Hazel Dixon – USA 2014.
My advice, don’t be shy to try to compete, don’t give up if you don’t win in a first time. And teach from the best. The trainings can be tough and you will hear many times, smile line is not perfect yet, where is the apex, too close to cuticle, etc. But after couple of trials, and you will hear: you got it!
